Hi Friends!
It’s been busy busy busy around here. We have had lots of personal things happening, as well as house projects. I’m sorry I haven’t been actively blogging frequently lately, but hopefully you’ll accept my explanation and apology.
In the personal department, here are the 3 big things that have kept me away from the ole’ blog:
1 We went on a FAT trip to Germany, France, and a little bit of Italy
2. We are having a baby!
3. My little sister, Jennifer, had a cancerous brain tumor removed about a year ago. She stayed with us for about a month while she was healing from her 8-hour craniotomy in May of last year. Since then, she has been coming down to Houston on-and-off for doctor appointments and evaluations and such. Recently, her team of doctors at M.D. Anderson decided she needed to do radiation therapy followed by chemo. She has been staying with us for the past six weeks as she undergoes her daily radiation treatment. CANCER SUCKS! GO JENN!
In the home department, these are the 3 big projects that have kept us busy in between all the personal things:
- Termite wall got fixed!
2. David made and hung cedar flower boxes on the top three windows (finished photos to come soon)
3. We have been designing a nursery for our future baby girl (more final photos to come here too)
