We are in dire need of clothing storage in our master bedroom. We have a teeny master closet, and it’s just not working. There’s simply not enough space for both David and my clothes and shoes for all seasons.
The first step of our kitchen reno is to open the wall between our kitchen and dining room. Ultimately, I want one big cased opening that matches the others in the house. The photo below shows David’s work before and after he removed the arched doorway and arched bar window (?) between the two rooms.
David and I painted almost every single room of this 3 bed, 2.5 bath house of ours with our own four hands. Picking cohesive paint colors for a whole house can be tricky. For me, I wanted each room to feel different from the next, but also similar. I want the rooms to belong together, but have a bit of their own personality. Read more
